Community Server 2.0 Release Candidate 1

This morning we released the first, and probably only, release candidate of Community Server 2.0. You can find the download links on the communityserver.org announcement blog.

Please go download the release candidate and give it a spin. After 8 months of development & testing, and 3 beta versions, there is only one more week before the official launch of CS 2.0 on February 20, 2006. So if there is anything broken, we definitely want to find it this week!

Also, check out the new Community Server Licensing and Upgrade Guide that Rob put together last week. What was known as the community version of CS 1.x is now called the Express Edition. And one of the changes in Beta 3 to RC1 was to enable the really cool CS Spam Blocker in Express!

As usual, the source code for the core components of Community Server will be freely available after RTM.
