Happy Telligent Anniversary
My name is Kevin and I feel special today, for a number of reasons.
For one, last night I traded in my 10 year old Explorer for a shiny new Freestyle. It's nice to drive something different to work for the first time in about 8 years. Amazing how much auto technology has changed in the past decade. :P
But more importantly, I feel special to work with such great - not to mention unprofessional - co-workers and friends at Telligent. Today is my second year anniversary at Telligent (started June 1, 2005), and Telligent's 3 year anniversary.
That's right, I'm so special that Rob decided to hire me to celebrate Telligent's first year! Boy I bet they wished they had gotten a toaster instead now (or a popcorn-proof microwave).
To observe my 2/3 holiday, I'm going to aim for a very rare occurrence on this blog: multiple posts on the same day! I've got lots of ideas and half-finished posts sitting around, just gotta finish the deal.
I'm also going to try to post more about my life and non-technical related things as well in the future. I had originally planned on doing that on my HarderFamily.org blog, but I can barely keep one blog alive yet along two. And I enjoy reading technical blogs with a little non-tech mixed in to spice it up, so hopefully you do as well.
By the way, I'm typing this using the new Windows Live Writer Beta 2 and it rocks! Congrats to the WLW team. Like ScottW I really wish we could have included WLW Customization API features in Community Server 2007 before we released it (or at least in SP1) as many CS bloggers also use WLW. But I'm sure it will be a matter of hours/days before one or more of us release CS add-ons that take advantage of the new API.

I almost forgot until I read Kevin's post that today is Telligent's 3rd anniversary. I remember the day
