New addition to the Harder family

It is time to share the big news with the world:
My wife and I are having a baby! RTW (Release-To-World) is scheduled for March 8. =) We are very excited!

So far we have listened to the heartbeat, and should have the first ultrasound in about a week. Hopefully then we'll be able to determine the gender. Mackenzie is hoping for a girl, of course, so she'll have a sister to play with. =) My wife on the other hand is wishing for twins. I would be thrilled with either a boy or a girl, just as long as it's not an extraterrestrial alien (not that there's anything wrong with that).

We have managed to agree on a few names that we both like. Not sure why, but it has been much easier for us to think of girl names that we both love than boy names so far. Megan has spent considerably more time on the name brainstorming however, as the logical part of me keeps arguing it's much more efficient to think about names after we reduce the possibilities by 50% following the ultrasound.

For those of you who read my blog purely for the technical posts (which have been very lacking recently), fear not! In the very near future I will be moving most of my personal and family content to the HarderFamily.org site. But for now, that's what categories are for.
